Nizhny800
Portal dedicated to the celebration of the 800th anniversary of Nizhny Novgorod. The portal invites residents to submit projects and share ideas for the city’s anniversary, as well as follow key news about the preparations.
At its core is the “Team 800” initiative, which engages locals in planning the celebrations. All submitted ideas are reviewed by experts, and the most promising ones can receive financial or organizational support. The Nizhny 800 portal also features updates on upcoming events, historical facts about Nizhny Novgorod, and surveys where citizens can voice their opinions on current urban issues.
The website took 3rd place in the “Portals” category at the nationwide Runet Rating award for the best websites (2020).
We developed a grant application system with personal accounts for participants, status tracking, and notifications. For the jury, we built a separate restricted interface with project evaluation by criteria, comments, logging, and a voting module so that all decisions are recorded in a transparent and convenient way.
