Visit Imandra
A tourism website showcasing active recreation opportunities on the largest lake of the Kola Peninsula. It brings together the main attractions of Monchegorsk and its surroundings: Lake Imandra, Leningradskaya Embankment, Brovtsev Park, the Lapland Nature Reserve, and other points of interest. The site offers various walking routes around the city — from strolls past art installations along the lakeshores to viewpoints with stunning panoramas of Imandra and the Khibiny mountains. The information is useful both for independent travellers and for tour operators in the Murmansk region.
The website took 3rd place in the “Service, Travel Information Portal, Corporate Website” category at the nationwide Golden Site Award for the best websites (2022).
We built a custom maps module - simpler than Yandex or Google Maps, but tailored to the project’s needs. It shows routes, points of interest, infrastructure layers and events, all editable from the CMS and visually integrated into the site design.
